Karen’s passion is building collaborative, high-performing teams. She has turned around many underperforming teams by finding the right fit for personnel and implementing process improvement.
Most recently, Karen was Vice President of Sales at Siemens Healthcare where she managed a diverse portfolio containing multiple product lines with revenue up to $400M. Karen and her team successfully negotiated and closed multi-million dollar contracts with health systems by collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement automation and apply lean practices which resulted in operational efficiencies, improved patient outcomes, and increased reimbursement for customers.
A member of the North American Leadership team, Karen worked collaboratively with the leaders of Marketing, Finance, Commercial Operations, Human Resources, and Legal to establish strategic direction and tactical implementation for the field organization. Selected initiatives included go-to-market strategies, marketing promotions, creating value propositions, designing compensation plans to drive revenue and maintain profitability, organizational restructuring for best fit in a dynamic marketplace, sales forecasting, and identifying personnel talent in the organization.
